Brahmakumaris’ Reveal “World’s Biggest Book”
Mulund, April 21, 2013: Under the aegis of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, the World’s Biggest Book (28 ft x 18 ft) titled ‘Prajapita Brahma - A Unique Life Secret’ was released on Sunday 21st April 2013. The book has entered the Asia Book of Records because of this unparallel achievement.
Along with the record-breaking feat, a 7-day Indian Values And Cultural Fair was inaugurated by Rajyogi B. K. Brijmohanji – A.S.G, Brahmakumaris and Shri. Shyam Jajuji, National General Secretary, BJP, who were the Chief Guests of the event. This event was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Thomos Ben, representative of Asia Book of World Records, United Kingdom, special Guests Mr. V. Eshwaraiah (Former Chief Justice, High-Court –Andhra Pradesh), Mr. Sardar Tara Singh (MLA, Mulund Constituency), Mr. Thomas Brain (United Kingdom – Asia Book of Records, London), B.K. Dipak Harke, Ahmadnagar, Rajyogini Didi B. K. Yogini (Incharge, Brahma Kumaris, Vile Parle subzone), B.K. Gangadhar (Editor, Om Shanti Media, Mount Abu), Mr. Prakash Gangadhar (Corporator, BJP), B.K. Deepak Bhai, Rajyogini BK Godavari (Incharge, Brahma Kumaris, Mulund subzone), Ganesh Jingam (Book Designer) and others.
During the event, Mr. Thomos Ben measured the size of the book and declared it to be the largest book in the world listing it in the Asia Book of Records. In his speech, Mr. Ben said that since the book explores spirituality and religious fundamentals in a big way, it is sure to trigger the imagination of the youth and inspire them to lead a better life. He also said that it can serve to be an important catalyst of the New Age too.
Before the event, Guinness Book of World Record Holder, B. K. Rani Raikwad of Bhopal stunned the public, pulling a bus loaded with 50 passengers with her hair. The feat was met with wild applause from everywhere.
Rajyogini BK Godavari Didiji welcomed all the guests present for the event. Mr. Shyam Jajuji in his speech condemned the lack of religious, satvik and sanskar-building programs which has increased suffering and vices. He stated that he respects what Brahma Kumaris does, to empower politicians spiritually and believes in doing the right action for the betterment of the society.
Rajyogi B. K. Brijmohanji enunciated the role of the Brahmakumaris organization in encouraging people to stay in soul consciousness and interact with each other in that state to bring in world harmony. He stated that soul consciousness is the only solution to all the problems in the world.
Shri Sardar Tara Singh also praised the Brahma Kumaris in his speech for bringing about a whirlwind change in the thoughts, hearts and lives of many people.
Rajyogini Didi B. K. Yogini ji conducted mass meditation for all. Following the meditation programme, renowned actress Ms. Kunika in her speech said that, she has gained a lot from the Brahma Kumaris – a new life, peace of mind, discipline in life and how to interact with the people. She feels this is her spiritual family. Mr. V. Eshwaraiah lamented on how India which was the place of heaven has now become poor in its original culture and how the spiritual fair organized by the Brahma Kumaris can help transform the country back to its original form.
On the other hand, B.K. Gangadharji stressed in the revolution of thoughts to bring about new golden era.
